Central funds may be sought to meet illustration costs, publication charges or to subsidise the publication price where this is critical to the work being published. The applicant's faculty or department must commit a contribution of at least 50% of the central funds subsidy. Academic staff, professional staff, students or honorary fellows of the University of Melbourne are eligible to apply. University PhD graduates wishing to publish all or part of their doctoral thesis MUST have a continuing affiliation with the University of Melbourne to be eligible to apply.
