Under the terms of reference, the administrators were responsible for administering the assets, membership and policy of the fund. This includes setting policy with regard to eligibility for membership as well as adjudicating claims. At meeting 3 in 1989, the administrators resolved that future management of the Disability Pensions Fund would occur through the Administrators of the Staff Superannuation Fund. Accordingly, the assets of the fund were transferred to the Staff Superannuation Scheme under Council Statute 16.2, Clause 25 (1).
