This led to the establishment of a Faculty of Music, Visual and Performing Arts adding the following disciplines: Art, Drama, Dance Film and Television. The new Faculty comprised the School of Music and the School of the VCA. In 1993, it was mutually agreed that the affiliation had not achieved the desired aims and the Faculty was disestablished.
