At their first meeting they expressed an interest in the need for Nurse Education Centres in hospitals; employment opportunities for hospital nurse teachers in the new CAE courses; clinical supervision of CAE students in the hospital setting. They adopted a Constitution and set of aims and objects in September 1983 which remained constant until they voted to disband, without affiliating with any ANF Victoria Special Interest Group, in June 1990.
