Agent TypeOrganisationActivities & OccupationsMining companiesHistoryKembla Coal and Coke was a wholly owned subsidiary of CRA Ltd which operated its Illawarra colliery and associated operations; Coal Cliff Colliery was one of these operations which CRA redeveloped 1969 to 1971 recommencing its mining operations in 1971. The colliery had previously operated from its first shipment in 1878 with its first shaft being sunk in 1909.
