Educated at Melbourne Grammar School and the University of Melbourne, he greaduated B.Sc. and M.Sc. Geoffrey Leeper lectured in Agricultural Chemistry from 1933 and was appointed Associate Professor in 1946 and later became Professor in 1962. He retired in 1969 and died in 1986.
