Weekly meetings were held at the University of Melbourne's Student Union from October 1978 and then at the Women's Cultural Palace in Fitzroy from February 1979. Working Groups formed included the Lesbian Health Group and the Speakers Group. LAG published the first 'Lesbian Resources Directory' in 1979. It disbanded in November 1980.
