They opened a factory and showroom at 123 Queen St, Melbourne in 1904. Wunderlich was most famous for manufacturing pressed zinc ceiling panels and decorative work. Later they expanded into 'modern' materials such as Durabestos, promoted by the company at the time as "inexpensive, clean and durable". The firm was taken over by Colonial Sugar Refining Co.
