Most appear to be modern reproductions of the work of photographer Thomas Hannay (b. Scotland - d.Brunswick 1897) who was was in the Portland district in 1859.
Prints are chiefly 12"x 6" glossy. Most are undated but from the 19th and early 20th Centuries.ArrangementNumerical orderArchival HistoryPrints were taken from negatives by Mr. N.H. Rosenthal, Audiovisual Aids, The University of Melbourne. FS's letter to Adamson of 20 April 1966 says that they had been lent to the National Trust in 1965. FS retrieved them, had them copied by Audiovisual Aids Aids and returned them.Allied Materials

UMA holds 157 modern reproduction copies transferred by Norman Rosenthal of UM Visual Aid Department after the originals had been digitised by National Trust.
