Columns are headed, across the whole opening: Number [i.e. of student in order of entry, beginning with Thomas Cornelius Cole]; Name; Age; Name and Occupation of Father; Place of Residence; Religious Denomination; Place of Education; Date of Matriculation; First Year, Lectures, Examinations and Prizes; Second Year, Lectures, Examinations and Prizes; Third Year, Lectures, Examinations and Prizes; Degree of B.A. [date of conferring if any]; Course for Degree of M.A.; Date of Degree of M.A. The first date of matriculation is 13 April 1855. From No.17, a column is used to note the date of the Matriculation Examination at which the student qualified to enter, and exhibitions etc. are noted. Numbers are entered to 240, but the latest date of matriculation is 11 April 1866 (Student No. 217) and University results were not fully entered after the early 1860's. Pages 23-81 are blank.
