Within this collection there is a discrete set of 1339 lantern slides which were used by Sir Raymond Edward Priestley (1886-1974), Geologist, Polar Explorer and First salaried Vice-Chancellor, (01/01/1935 - 30/06/1938) during his Australian lectures on Polar exploration.
