The correspondences, reports and notices relate to: the Federal Executive Committee, Federal Council meetings, other committees and working parties; the activities conducted by state branches and special interest groups of the federation; relations with other nursing professional bodies and unions, the International Council of Nurses (ICN) and other international bodies; the rules and registration certification of the federation and its branches that document the evolution of the ANF as an organisation; and educational and training initiatives for nursing practice. There are also records about public relations, elections at the federal and branch levels, fellowship and education schemes for nurses, annual returns of the industrial registrar and financial statements.
