Sexton, Acting Professor of Engineering, to Professor Turner, Botany, 28 April 1944, covering the books, found among books of George Higgins; one loose sheet containing memoranda. 2. 8vo notebook labelled "Botany 2", 30 - 31 April 1875. 3. 4vo notebook labelled "Botany No. 1". On the first page written in Higgins' hand "1 Botany. Notes from Professor McCoy's lectures commenced 5th April 1875. Ended 31st May 1875. George Higgins. Melbourne University." This book contains a revised version of the notes in 1., but is completed only to 12 April 1875.
