Each document has the reference number allotted by the committee's secretary, indicating its position within the full set of minutes of a particular meeting, and the date of the minutes to which it was originally attached. Subject matter includes finance reports, background to building projects, building programme, completion schedules, architect's reports etc. It is assumed that Max Ferguson accumulated these records due to the financial information they held, but naturally they also cover building programme, works and maintenance matters. Additional arrangement note: Initially in two implied sections: General and Projects, and then alphabetically within each section.
