There is also some original correspondence bearing original handwritten entries. The files are organised alphabetically according to the name of the department or organisational entity in question and hence provide a good overview of the relevant functions and activities. Naturally, the focus is on financial matters and most files include summary account sheets stating income and expenditure for a given financial year, some of which date back to the 1950s.
