The related correspondence can be found in series (2015.0033) ARC Series Reference NO.33. There are index cards from 1962 to 1984, and computer printouts from 1986 to1991 and 1994. They provide a listing of the correspondence headings and sub-headings used, with a separate list for each year. These records provide clues as to the workings of the file classification system used by the National Office. However a full listing of National Headquarters correspondence file titles was generated by the Red Cross Archives prior to transfer to the University of Melbourne in 2015 and this data, rather than the control records, is recommended as a first point of access to the correspondence series (2015.0033).
Researchers should note that under the Geneva Conventions Act 1957 protections govern the use of the Red Cross emblem.
