[UMA-SRE-20160035] BUSINESS RECORDS AND PERSONAL PAPERS OF LOUISE HANSON-DYER
Description
IdentifierUMA-SRE-20160035Extent39 UnitsLinear Meterage7.25Scope and ContentThis series contains some of the earliest correspondence and business records from Louise Hanson-Dyer's business intermingled with her personal photographs and other personal material. The earliest files date from the 1920s and 1930s until the 1960s, although some have been added later from the 1980s to 2007. This series was transported as found from the offices of Editions de l'Oiseau-Lyre in Monaco to the University of Melbourne and labelled Business Records 1. It consisted of four boxed sets of records: Archibox; Patrimoine canson; Canson and Large Mixed series. As these names referred to box and file types rather than shedding light on their contents, the records which they contained are listed in this series by their titles and dates in the order that they were found in the boxes. One exception is that the 'Secretarial files' found in the boxes have been removed and listed in their own series (2016.0048) to make them more discoverable because of their relationship to the Musicians, Writers and Authors Letters series (2016.0034).Collection CategoryCulture and the ArtsAccess StatusOpen for public accessAccess ConditionsPlease request material from this series via the Rare Music Request Form at
