Emily Milton (nee Wood) and Harry Stephen a Bratowooloong man (alt spelling for Bratauolung) had six children. See Pepper (1985) p,318. Emily was a school teacher at Ramayhuck missoin school. The family surname is sometimes listed as Stephen sometimes as Stephens. Maud Stephens later married Dave Mullett. Blanche Stephens later married Jack Macleod. In its role of collecting and caring for cultural heritage, UMA recognises that it has a duty to the persons in the photograph, their descents and to facilitate connections to culture and kin.
