Angela told how her husband, who was a high-ranking officer in the Chilean Air Force, had been accused of siding with Allende and being a communist; he was taken and tortured. In an attempt to get a confession from Angela, Michele was taken and also tortured. The husband finally died from torture and Michele was released.
