Series[UMA-SR-000000120] PublicationsAccession[2005.0048] Papers of Norman McCall TullohIdentifierUMA-ITE-2005004800062Scope and Content[By Norman Tulloh] During the period 1972-1987, I visited Indonesia once or twice a year, either as a consultant or (for 2 years) as Academic Director of the Australian - Asian Universities' Co-operation Scheme (AAUCS), later called the Australian Universities International Development Program (AUIDP). The visits were mostly to what were called the HUB universities, namely: Hasanuddin University (at Ujung Pandang, Sulawesi), Udayana University (at Denpasar, Bali) and Brawijawa University (at Malang, East Java). They also involved visits to the lnstitut Pertanian Bogor (IPB) at Bogor in West Java. Initially, the visits were concerned with the Faculties of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry but, later on, to other faculties, libraries and administrators within the HUB universities.
