He is kneeling in the sand and may be making a weapon, possibly a woomera. Taken during a motor trip from Oodnadatta to Darwin by Neville Fraser, Lord Stradbroke and others.
Comments: In 1924 Neville Fraser accompanied the Governor of Victoria Lord Stradbroke and others on a motor sight-seeing trip from Oodnadatta, South Australia to Katherine and Darwin, Northern Teritory. The Mission was established in 1877 by German Lutherans.
