Maps are on folded paper and many are torn and damaged. Each map has the printed title "Karte des Deutschen Reiches. Umdruckausgabe!" and number and region name: e.g. "268. Charlottenburg"; "418. Bischofswerda"; "512. Lichtenfels" etc. Map "447. Hirschberg in Schl." (1889) has extensive hand written notes on verso. Other maps contain annotations. Maps "292. Brandenberg" (1883) and "294.
