Agent TypeOrganisationHistoryThe date of formation of the Fund is uncertain. It seems this may have been the informal title of the Board of Management of the Equine Research Trust (later, Fund) founded by the Victoria Racing Club. This offered funding to be used by the Faculty of Veterinary Science for equine research on behalf of the Club. A Board of Management was established in December 1964, to consist of the Dean of the Faculty, and two representatives each from the Faculty and the Club. The fund was incorporated as a public company in December 1974.
