1. Volume, bounded in red, lettered in gold, paginated by hand. A table of contents, headed "The University of Melbourne and Public Library" lists events, and the related documents (invitations programmes etc.) which are pasted in the book: Invitation from the Public Library Trustees (also celebrating their Jubilee) and catalogue of their exhibition; Invitation sent by this University to others and to individuals, the Vice-Chancellor's Reception at Parliament House; Reception of Delegates; Women Students' Reception and Students' Smoke Night; etc. Included is a sketch of the University Gardens showing the proposed festooning; the table plan for the dinner, and the programme of Aristophanes "The Wasps" to be performed by the Colleges.
2. Volume bounded in dark brown, lettered on spine in gold: "Invitations Replies Speeches". The Contents Page sets out the groups: Forms of invitation (two in Latin, one in English); Reception of delegates (Programme); Speeches by H.
