In December 1976 the Chancellor, Dr L.W. Weickhardt, took the opportunity afforded by the Chancellor's Party to convey the University's thanks to Guild members for their work over the years. The records listed below were acquired
in the course of preparing the exhibition of photographs, lists of donations and other material documenting the Guild's activities, which was mounted at the party. A file relating to this exhibition os boxed with the records.
The photographs are accompanied by labels (hand printed cards) apparently used for a display mounted by the Guild, and a brief typewritten account of the Guild's work for the University.
