This series consists on death claims numbered 1-20 in respect of Table IV and number E1 (one claim only) for Table 'B'. Each packet may contain originals or copies of any or all of the following documents: proposals, friends reports, health evidence, proof of age, roof of ownership, proof of death, assignments, policy, statutory declarations or other correspondence pertaining to issue of policies and settlement of the claims. There are two No.1 claim in the Table IV Group. One a war claim, the other regarding a military member. The claim name HIGGINS, member of the Royal Flying Corps was killed when shot down over France in 1916. The copy of a letter from the Commanding Officer of the Squadron is attached. The other No.1 regarded name WHEELER who died as a result of motor cycle accident in 1926 whilst a member of the military. There is a copy of the Original Station (Barracks) Orders from the Commanding Officer of Bombay command showing Notice of Sale of deceased's personal effects.
